Stefan Allesch-Taylor CBE FKC

Investor, entrepreneur and UK FCA-regulated industry veteran with 35+ years founding, scaling and exiting businesses across financial services, property, technology and asset management in 15+ countries, representing combined assets of $18bn+, a recognized expert in emerging markets. Co-founder and Chair (or C-suite) of asset management companies, an investment bank and a deposit-taking commercial bank, notably the $14bn AuM manager Global Evolution A/S. Professor of the Practice of Entrepreneurship at King’s College London (2016–2025); CBE (2014) for philanthropic and humanitarian work in Africa and the UK.

CO-FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE CHAIR

Leads global gold sourcing and trading operations with over a decade of commodity experience. Former CEO of award-winning FMCG business scaling turnover from $500k-50m. 10+ years’ experience managing global supply chains and volume procurement from South America and Africa. Served on the Boards of several African NGOs providing entrepreneurial interventions for millions of beneficiaries.

Leads SigraFi's business development, strategic partnerships, investor relations, and corporate, investor, and media communications, building the company's network across Africa, South America, and the Gulf. 20+ years of international experience in board-level strategy and communications across finance, technology, and advisory in London and the Middle East, including for private offices, listed companies and founder-led businesses operating in emerging markets. Has built go-to-market and strategic partnerships for global listed companies and led crisis and portfolio communications for a wide variety of private clients.

Board Member of the United Nations-backed Global Tailings Management Institute. Responsible investment and mining leader with 20+ years’ experience across ethical supply chains, climate risk and safety. Special Advisor to the Global Investor Commission on Mining 2030 and former Secretary-General of the Council on Ethics of the Swedish National Pension Funds. Previously with Norges Bank Investment Management.

30+ years in global capital markets, including 18 years at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where he served as Global Head of Sustainable Finance and Investment Strategy, Head of Emerging Markets Strategy, and Head of International Primary Markets. Founded the LSEG's Africa Advisory Group, driving capital markets development and sustainable finance initiatives across the continent. Led emerging market transactions raising over $100 billion for governments and corporates and pioneered offshore local-currency bond programmes that facilitated a further $11 billion. Former foreign exchange trader at NatWest Markets and Citi, specialising in spot and cross-rate trading.
